Built to outlast a traditional timber door
Every composite door we install is built around a 48mm solid engineered core — either a high-density foam or an FSC-certified timber composite — wrapped in a woodgrain-effect GRP skin that never needs painting or planing. The result is a door that is more secure, better insulated and lower maintenance than a traditional timber front door, without losing the look.
A solid core, not a hollow shell
The 48mm engineered core is bonded directly to the GRP skin with no air gap, giving composite doors a genuine U-value of between 1.0 and 1.4 W/m²K — a significant improvement on both timber and standard uPVC panel doors.
A finish that doesn't need repainting
The woodgrain-effect GRP skin is coloured through the material, not just painted on, so scuffs and scratches don't show bare timber underneath. It won't warp, crack or rot the way a timber door can over time.

Every composite door is built on a 48mm solid core, glazed with a 28mm double-glazed unit where a design includes glass, and fitted with a multi-point hookbolt locking mechanism as standard. Ancillary options include a matching side panel, a choice of letterbox positions, and a spy hole or smart doorbell cut-out.
